How it works
CryoSkin is a self cooling vinyl that uses radiative cooling technology to get cooler outdoors.
Radiative cooling combines high reflectivity with high emissivity, meaning that it reflects energy away while also letting go of energy it has. This creates a net cooling effect that allows it to remove heat from objects it is applied to.
To work, the CryoSkin needs a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. This includes things like glass and clouds, which disrupt its effectiveness. A simple rule of thumb is: the more blue it sees, the better it works. High humidity also reduces its performance.

The CryoSkin can be applied to almost any surface. The adhesive is pressure sensitive, leaves no residue, and is safe for most hard surfaces. It can be removed and reapplied as needed. The CryoSkin is durable, but not invincible.
Avoid abrasive cleaning methods, protective coatings, and other chemical layers. A simple rinse with water should suffice. It can survive a carwash, but ask the attendant to turn off the top scrubbers if possible. Avoid oils, including skin oils.
